IM Malaysia

February '04

Good luck to Chang Min Chew, a Malaysia-based athlete who will be undertaking his first Ironman event this weekend in steamy Ironman Malaysia.

Armed with a computrainer, a series of tests to have determined HR training zones and benchmarks, Chang has faithfully executed a workout protocol that so many folks have successfully practiced here in the San Francisco Bay Area, some 20+ states across the country, and even more remote locations across Europe and the southern hemisphere. Chang has now added the m2 language of TBT/EA/PS/ST/FT/PE to his list of languages spoken.

Pretty neat what can happen with the internet, HR monitors, and a tool like the computrainer which allows a rider from Calgary Canada to be on the same workout page as one from the southern province of hot and humid Malaysia.
