Rode 3hr20'on Saturday afternoon.

I believe that this was my first time out on the roads in nearly 3 weeks. Rainy weather, a busy schedule, houseguests, etc. have had me pedaling away on my computrainer.

I also confess to being enamored with my new PC setup with fancy speakers and being able to compose great song lists on the fly. My workouts have consisted of 3 ST sessions, a variety of EA workouts, several MP workouts, and of course a steady diet of pedaling efficiency workouts. Durations have generally been 50-75 minutes.

Our route on Saturday was Lucas Valley Road, up and over the Marshall Wall into a very stiff headwind, Tomales Bay, and back to Lucas Valley Road. For those unfamiliar with the area, it is anything but flat.

I was very pleased with my effort. Very solid ride. Baseline HR was pegged at 20 beats below threshold with little downtime. Worked several of the climbs at threshold. Finished the ride off on Lucas Valley (a 30' section) with L1 98-12 below to the base of the steep, threshold up the steep, and L1 on the flat, before cooling down.

Bottom-line, 3 weeks of 1hr focused rides; hit the roads for 3.25hr of very solid riding. Felt completely fresh at the end. Drank 1.5 bottles of Revenge, did not have to take any gels or bars.
