Class Tips!

The performance, health, and fitness benefits of indoor cycling and cardio exercise are well documented. At M2Revolution, we try to give you the best possible workout and we while varying the program to make interesting while progressively building greater fitness. To maximize the benefits, remember these simple tips:

Tip #1 – Listen to your body.

Listen to your body and pace yourself. Ideally you arrive at our workouts with legs that are ready for a focused effort. If for whatever reason you do not have your "A" game, downgrade the intensity to that level where your body invites.

Tip #2 - Get on a Regular Schedule.

Get on a pattern and just do it. Find a partner or write in you class commitments in advance. Consistency is everything in an exercise/training regimen.

Tip #3 – Fueling.

Nibbling on something in the hour before class can give you an energy boost. Should you forget, we have gels and sports beans to give you some added zip. It is also recommended that you drink a sports drink during class and not plain water. I think you will notice the performance boost in the late goings of the workout with such fueling practices.

Tip # 4 – Recognize the benefits of training at M2 Revolution!
  1. Increased smiling....both during, and after a great class
  2. A cool new song running through your head
  3. A feeling of accomplishment for having challenged yourself
  4. Camaraderie at the studio with like-minded folks
  5. Your outdoor riding partners asking why you are riding so fast
  6. Those hills that seem to have shrunk in size
  7. Going out to dinner with formerly tight clothing fitting loosely
